Nature core pillar

Conserving nature's treasures

Intact ecosystems and biodiversity form the basis of life on this planet. Nature’s treasure troves are vast, but they are not inexhaustible. Since our products come from nature, it is our responsibility to extract them carefully and responsibly. That is why we do what we can to maintain a healthy ecological balance and conserve nature’s treasures.

Treading gently

Everything we do to make our products – cultivation, refinement, packaging – all adds up to an ecological footprint. To reduce our footprint, we continuously explore all the options for reducing the waste we generate and our consumption of energy and water. Our long-term goal is to become carbon neutral and to keep our greenhouse gas emissions to a minimum.

Our goal

We use resources sparingly and carefully, and we are working to significantly reduce our ecological footprint.

Sustainable Development Goals

The objectives and measures in the Nature core pillar support the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal 12 “Responsible Consumption and Production,” Goal 13 “Climate Action,” and Goal 15 “Life On Land.”
