EuroTier 2018 – BOOST YOUR FEED. NATURALLY.

Martin Bauer Group’s new product concept, “BOOST YOUR FEED. NATURALLY”, celebrated its premiere at EuroTier 2018 (November 13-16, 2018). The concept introduces three new and natural approaches that were created to improve current challenges seen in the animal feed industry. The focus of the concept’s presentation was on three natural approaches that can be targeted to improve current challenges in the animal feed industry.

Currently there are many changes happening within the legal framework of livestock farming. As a result, plant extracts are becoming more and more interesting as feed additives, especially on topics such as “antibiotic reduction” and “animal welfare”. Martin Bauer Group seeks to meet this demand with a product concept based on natural tea and herbal extracts for the three main topics “antioxidative”, “wound healing” and “antibacterial. The product concept was introduced at EuroTier 2018 in Hanover, Germany this month.

Top-quality raw materials and transparency
With ‘BOOST YOUR FEED. NATURALLY’, the focus of the product concept are natural prod-ucts supported by scientific studies on the mode of action. Anselm Hussmanns, product manager An-imal Nutrition adds: “Nature with its enormous variety of plants form the foundation of our product concepts to sustainably improve animal welfare.” The raw materials that are used for the extracts grow in more than 50+ different countries. Martin Bauer Group has been certified in accordance with numerous international standards as well as FAMI-QS, which is reflected in the new product concept that acknowledges the general increase in awareness of sustainability.

Three natural approaches
The antioxidative concept anTeaOx® and its main component green tea extract focus on the natural stabilization of oil & fats, fatty raw materials and feed. The wound healing extract mix helps to prevent the deterioration of gut mucosa and supports the recovery of already damaged membranes. In the field of “antibacterial” Martin Bauer Group also presented an interesting concept since the natural extracts can help to inactivate pathogens in the gastrointestinal tract before they reach the gut mucosa and prevent its deterioration. Anselm Hussmanns summarizes: “The high level of interest of ‘BOOST YOUR FEED. NATURALLY’ shows that we have taken up the key focus topics of the industry in our concept.”
