Botanical Sweet Mixes

Consumers embrace healthy eating: as consumers become more intensely concerned with nutrition, they are also considering the impact food has on their physical and mental health, as well as on the health of the planet. They are putting particular emphasis on the quality of ingredients, and sweetener type is a key marker to evaluate product quality. So, the demand is growing for products that provide a balanced diet while being tasty, contain no E-numbers and are also sustainable.

The pressure on the food industry is growing, but is there a real sweet alternative without any lazy compromise? We at MartinBauer took this demand very seriously and came across with our revolutionary natural Botanical Sweet Mixes.

Botanicals and their various taste profiles

Botanicals range across the various flavors: from herbal with e.g. basil, rosemary, mate, to refreshing with lemongrass, peppermint or lemon balm or more fruity with hibiscus, elderberry and rosehip and of course sweet with stevia, sweet blackberry leaves and licorice root.

These taste profiles can only be realized by special selected combinations of botanicals – there is no need of flavors or other additives! We at MartinBauer have been dealing for more than 90 years with these herbal raw materials for tea applications, we know how to handle and process botanicals and know our cup of tea in every single dimension of taste. That’s why the mix of sweet tasting botanicals comes naturally to us.

Our Solution: A sweet tea blend

As mentioned, the inspiration for this concept lies in our history of creating different botanical taste profiles for tea applications. But how does this apply to your products? It’s just like when you treat yourself with a cup of tea: a dried botanical blend, mainly in a tea bag, is extracted with hot water to get the sensory and health benefits from the single botanicals.

Our solution works the same way: for all botanical sweeteners we are using the full plant or parts of it and are not purifying single components. Our extracts are pure water-based extracts without further physical or chemical treatment: you just add a cup of sweet botanical mixes to your product.

Your benefits: Enhance the taste and sweetness of your product in a simple and natural way

Our solution is based on natural botanical products which have a positive and direct effect on the nutri-score value of your product. And with our vegan, clean label and sustainable botanical extracts and infusions you meet the demands of your consumers. In a nutshell you benefit from a simple and natural way to enhance the taste and the sweetness of your product and at the same time you fulfil all regulatory aspects.

So, whatever your application is – condiments, cereal bars, little shots, energy drinks or carbonated soft drinks – if you are facing the challenge to get sweetness and taste right while fulfilling all the regulatory aspects, our Botanical Sweet Mixes are the right solution for you. We at MartinBauer can help you develop your individual solution for your application. Are you interested? Contact us: sales@martin-bauer.com
